I’ve never used any 3D printing machines before so this is really exciting for me. These will hopefully form a sort of base for the “skin sculpture”.
We’re starting our experiments by printing out a standard face we found on “Thingyverse” (open source 3d print models that can be downloaded and printed at your leisure.) Thus really begins the adventure in the prototyping lab and it looks like we’ll be spending a lot of time here...
Once the face was printed we took it and used the vacuum mould to create a duplicate.
I called that material “the cheese” because it truly does look EXACTLY like a giant slice of American Cheese... just saying
